LONDON (ShareCast) - Mining groups Evraz, Lonmin and Polymetal International all tracked metal prices higher.

Jardine Lloyd Thompson also climbed after Numis raised its target price to 1,190p, upgrading the stock from 'hold' to 'buy'.

Ocado shares suffered significant declines, which Bloomberg was linking to the wider sell-off of tech-related stocks in recent times.

F&C Commercial Property Trust’s 2013 profits jumped, boosted by improved investor appetite for UK commercial property. Pre-tax profit rose to £92.2m in the year ended December 31st from £30.3m a year earlier.

With reports of another sickness bug hitting its holiday makers in Cuba, Thomas Cook shares were once again heading lower. It comes after the company last month paid £0.15m in compensation to holiday makers at the same hotel in 2013.
