LONDON (ShareCast) - Consumer goods maker McBride hailed a solid start to the year and said it was trading in line with hopes.
McBride, which makes own-label detergents and other cleaning products for supermarkets and other retailers, said trading had matched expectations in the period from 1 July to 19 October.
"The group has made a solid start to the year, with group revenue at constant currency returning to modest growth," the Manchester-based group said in a statement.
It added that its UK business restructuring project announced in June was fully on track to save £12m by 30 June 2016, of which £3m would come in the year to 30 June 2015.
