LONDON (ShareCast) - Gable's chief executive William Dewsall increased his stake in the non-life insurance company one week after reporting full-year losses.
Dewsall purchased 100,000 shares for 25.9p each, which cost him £25,900. Following the purchase, he holds 24.8m shares, which represent 18.36% of the company's issued share capital.
The insurance company reported losses before tax of £5.4m in 2014 against profits of £7.2m one year earlier. However, it added its first quarter of 2015 has been performing strongly.
Also on Wednesday, a director at Pacific Assets Trust bought same shares in the company.
Terence Mahony, who has been in the company for 11 years, acquired 25,000 shares for an individual price of 208.25p, spending a total of £52,062.
After the transaction, Mahony holds 25,000 ordinary shares in the investment trust business.
