LONDON (ShareCast) - Northern Petroleum on Monday announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Keith Bush, had the same day purchased 85,000 ordinary shares.

Costing 31.18p each, Bush spent a total of £26,503 on the shares. The purchase marks his only holding in the group.

Meanwhile, fellow board member, Stewart Gibson, who is one of the oil and gas group's Non-Executive Directors, spent £31,000 on 100,000 shares, which similarly marks his only stake in the group too.

Gibson, former Chief Executive Officer of TSX-V listed Sterling Resources, joined the group in December.
