LONDON (ShareCast) - (ShareCast News) - Forbidden Technologies announced a paid-for pilot for its Forscene video platform on Wednesday, with an unnamed "major" North American broadcaster and sports rights holder.
The AIM-traded firm said its Forscene cloud video platform would provide a "virtualised workflow" and remote collaborative access to producers, editors and clients, enabling them to view and create selections and rough cuts prior to a final editing process.
In addition, Forscene would facilitate a rigorous shot logging process for the work groups.
"We are excited to be starting a relationship with a respected and innovative North American broadcaster," said Forbidden's chairman David Main.
"Our patented codec, Blackbird, which creates a lightweight proxy video is at the core of providing the capabilities that are required by this company.
"We are delighted that they recognise the unique capabilities that we provide."
