LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Westminster Group has signed a strategic alliance agreement to provide the Gulf Aviation Academy of Bahrain (GAA) with aviation and other specialised training services.
The agreement will see the two companies combine their expertise in a collaboration that will cover joint initiative international training programmes and special joint programmes.

Consequently, the two companies will offer each other's training programmes at their respective training centres and jointly promote these programmes, as well as other products and services beyond training such as airport security equipment and management programmes.

GAA currently provides a range of structured training programmes and courses for personnel within the aviation industry in Bahrain and the wider Middle East and North Africa region.

Peter Fowler, chief executive of Westminster, said: "The strategic alliance is an exciting development for both Westminster and GAA, greatly expanding our range of services to existing and potential clients. It opens up new markets and business opportunities for both companies as well as increasing the capacity for the delivery of ICAO and International Air Transport Association courses through ASTC registered trainers in both Arabic and English."

Westminster Group shares were up 10.46% at 17.95p at 0833 BST.
