LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Genel Energy revealed on Tuesday that chief executive Bill Higgs had disposed of 240,061 ordinary shares in the London-listed exploration and production firm.
Higgs, who took over as CEO in April 2019, sold the shares on Monday at an average price of 69.44p each, for a total value of £166,698.36.

Also on Monday, Higgs exercised options granted to him under the company's share schemes and sold the aforementioned shares in order to cover tax and national insurance liabilities arising from the exercise.

As of 1615 GMT, Genel shares were down 1.89% at 145.01p.
