(Sharecast News) - London stocks ended Wednesday on a mixed note, with investors reacting cautiously to geopolitical developments, particularly US president Donald Trump's looming announcement of reciprocal tariffs.
The FTSE 100 index dipped 0.3% to close at 8,608.48 points, while the FTSE 250 rose 0.3% to 19,649.63 points.
