(Sharecast News) - There is cause for optimism regarding the probable endgame for talks between Brussels and London on Britain's withdrawal from the single currency bloc.
In remarks to a parliamentary committee, cabinet minister, Michael Gove, "Negotiations are proceeding [...] in a way which gives us cause for steady optimism."
On the back of the news, as of 1515 BST the pound was drifting lower by 0.11% to 1.2867.
