London close: Stocks end flat as investors pause for breath; miners slump

(Sharecast News) - London stocks ended flat on Friday as investors paused for breath following record highs earlier in the week and ahead of the long weekend in the US, with miners under the cosh as copper prices fell.
The FTSE 100 closed steady at 10,235.29.
