(Sharecast News) - Budget airline Ryanair on Wednesday reported a rise in July passenger numbers, despite the travel chaos at UK airports.
The company said it carried 16.8 million passengers, compared with 9.3 million in July 2021 with a load factor of 96%, up from 80% a year earlier.
Ryanair operated around 92,300 flights during the month.
Rival Wizz Air on Tuesday reported a 61% year-on-year increase in July carryings to nearly five million on a load factor of 89.7%.
