Victoria Cooper from Welling, defeated more than 100 other contestants to land the National British Riding Showjumping Championships, held at the County Showground in Mavlern, Worcestershire, on Saturday.
She partnered her own pony, Supreme Sammy, completing the course five seconds quicker than the next best-placed rider.
Victoria was represntating the Joydens Riding Club of Old Bexley, where she has been a member for the past two years.
To mark this, and other achievments this summer including a gold medal at the London Youth Games, Victoria will meet the mayor, Chris Ball, in a couple of weeks.
