Aviva lining up Delta Lloyd sale
Aviva is to sell part of its £420m holding in Dutch rival Delta Lloyd.
The insurer is offloading about 15% of Delta Lloyd's issued shares, cutting its holding in the company to about 43% from 58%, through a private placement.
In March, Aviva, up 0.6p to 452.7p, said it could sell assets this year as part of a plan to focus on core markets.
It wants to concentrate its business in 12 key markets in Europe, the US and Asia, instead of 30 markets at present.
