AMEC unaffected by Japan tragedy
AMEC shrugged off concerns over its nuclear unit saying the outlook was unaffected by the Fukushima crisis in Japan.
The oil services and engineering group said its pipeline of orders had grown to £3.25bn from £3.14bn at the end of 2010, boosted by contracts from Chile and the North Sea.
AMEC (unchanged at 1182p) said that trading in the first four months of 2011 was in line with expectations and it was confident of maintaining a 9% earnings margin this year.
