UK shop price inflation steady in June, food inflation dips

(Sharecast News) - Shop price inflation was steady in June amid summer discounting, while food inflation dipped, according to figures released on Tuesday.
The BRC-NIQ shop price index showed that shop price inflation was unchanged versus May at 1.2% year-on-year in June. This was above the three-month average of 1.1%.
