(Sharecast News) - Everyman Media said on Friday that executive chairman Paul Wise has decided to step down from the board to pursue other interests.
Wise will remain in his position until 28 February 2023, at which point non-executive director Philip Jacobson will assume the role.
Jacobson joined Everyman in 2013 ahead of the company's admission to AIM. Everyman said he is an experienced business leader, becoming partner at BDO (then Stoy Hayward) in 1975 and remaining with the firm until 2006.
During his time at BDO, he worked with a wide variety of international, listed and unlisted companies.
Chief executive officer Alex Scrimgeour said: "On behalf of the board and everyone at Everyman I would like to thank Paul for his contribution during his tenure. For 14 years, Paul has been instrumental in building the Everyman proposition, growing the business and, most recently, navigating the challenges posed by the pandemic.
"Thanks in no small part to his stewardship, Everyman has emerged a stronger business, and we fully expect to announce strong results for the current year in line with the outlook statement contained in our interim results.
"In Philip Jacobson we have an experienced successor who knows and understands the business."
