(Sharecast News) - Borders & Southern Petroleum announced the extension of its production licences PL018, PL019, PL020 in the Falkland Islands on Thursday, including the Darwin Discovery Area.
The AIM-traded firm said the licences had been due to expire on 31 December.
"After applying for a two-year extension, the company has gratefully received confirmation from the Falkland Islands Government that the revised expiry date will be 31 December 2024," the board confirmed in its short statement.
At 1525 GMT, shares in Borders & Southern Petroleum were down 1.24% at 1.84p.
