FRC investigating EY over Made.com audit

(Sharecast News) - The Financial Reporting Council said on Thursday that it is investigating EY over its audit of collapsed online furniture retailer Made.com.
EY's audit of the company's accounts for the year to the end of December 2021 is being probed.
"The decision was made at a meeting of the FRC's Conduct Committee on 20 March 2023," the FRC said in a brief statement.
The investigation will be conducted by its enforcement division under the Audit Enforcement Procedure.
Made.com fell into administration last year after failing to find a rescue buyer, leaving thousands of customers out of pocket.
