(Sharecast News) - The US economy grew more than initially estimated in the third quarter, according to data released on Wednesday by the Commerce Department.
GDP grew 5.2% in the three months to September, ahead of the initial estimate of 4.9% growth.
The figures showed that consumer spending rose 3.6% from July to September, a downward revision on a previous estimate of 4%.
