(Sharecast News) - Growth in China's services sector eased in November, according to data released on Wednesday.
The Caixin services purchasing managers' index fell to 51.5 from 52.0 in October, coming in below expectations for a reading of 52.5.
A reading above 50.0 indicates growth, while a reading below signals contraction.
The survey also showed that the new business sub-index fell to 51.8 in November from 52.1 a month earlier.
Wang Zhe, senior economist at Caixin Insight Group, said: "Service providers generally expressed confidence in market improvement amid policy support, although some were concerned about the future trade environment."
