Tuesday preview: Chinese trade numbers, RBA policy meeting in the spotlight

(Sharecast News) - The market spotlight on Tuesday will turn to Asia, where the latest Chinese trade numbers are due out and central bankers Down Under are due to decide on policy.
At 0300 BST China's customs bureau is scheduled to announce foreign trade figures for November.

They will be followed by the Reserve Bank of Australia's rate announcement, at 0430 BST.

Rate-setters is Sydney are expected to keep official short-term interest rates at 4.35%.

Stateside, at 1330 BST the focus will be on third quarter unit labour cost and productivity data.

In the euro area, German consumer price data for November will be forthcoming at 0700 BST.

No major economic reports are scheduled in the UK.
