(Sharecast News) - Molten Ventures confirmed the appointment of Andrew Zimmermann as its chief financial officer on Tuesday, effective immediately.
The FTSE 250 company said Zimmermann, who had been serving as interim CFO since October, would also join its board of directors.
It said his formal appointment remained subject to shareholder approval at the company's annual general meeting in July.
Zimmermann originally joined Molten Ventures as finance director in November 2023.
Before his tenure at the venture capital firm, he served as CFO at IPGL, a family investment office.
His career also included senior finance roles at the Carlyle Group, where he was EMEA finance director, and financial controller positions at Martin Currie Investment Management, Alliance Trust, and Schroders.
A qualified chartered accountant, Zimmermann trained with Deloitte.
"Andrew has proven himself to be a highly capable leader with a firm grasp of our financial operations and a clear vision for supporting the company's long-term goals," said chief executive officer Ben Wilkinson.
"His appointment is well deserved, and I'm pleased to have his ongoing support as we continue to drive our growth strategy."
At 0826 GMT, shares in Molten Ventures were up 1.74% at 321.5p.
