Thursday preview: ECB, US Q1 GDP in focus

(Sharecast News) - All eyes on Thursday will be on the European Central Bank, as policymakers in Frankfurt meet to decide on interest rates.
Rate-setters are expected to opt for a 25 basis point cut in rates to 2.75%.

Against that backdrop, at 0930 BST the Office for National Statistics is scheduled to release money supply and lent lending data covering the month of December.

Also due out in the euro area and US are readings for gross domestic product growth in the first quarter for Germany and Spain covering the first quarter.
