Smarttech247 nets EUR 1.8m from sale of Getvisibility

(Sharecast News) - Smarttech247 announced on Thursday that it has completed the disposal of its investment in Visibility Blockchain, trading as Getvisibility, receiving €1.8m in cash following the sale to Forcepoint, a global data and cloud security provider.
The AIM-traded firm said the transaction, which it first announced in March, marked the full divestment of its stake in the data security firm.
It said the proceeds would further strengthen its balance sheet as it continued to focus on its core AI-driven cybersecurity services and managed detection and response offerings for international clients.
At 1151 BST, shares in Smarttech247 Group were up 5.96% at 6.89p.
