(Sharecast News) - Indian Navy ships test-fired missiles on Sunday to demonstrate the country's ability to launch "long-range, precision offensive" strikes. The move follows rising tensions with Pakistan after an attack on civilians at a tourist site in Kashmir. Also at the weekend, Pakistan's railway minister warned that Islamabad's arsenal of over 130 missiles was "not kept as models". - Guardian
Ed Miliband, the Energy Secretary, is being accused of complicity in polluting a town in Mississippi using UK taxpayers' cash. That is because Drax Group's power plant in North Yorkshire used wood pellets sourced in many instances from US forests to generate electricity. Shein has hiked its prices for shoppers in the US by as much as 377% in order to compensate for the tariffs imposed on it by Donald Trump. The fast-fashion giant, whose goods come mostly from China, imposed the increases on Friday.
