(Sharecast News) - Data science and biostatistics company Physiomics said on Monday that it had secured two new contracts with a UK-headquartered clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company.
Physiomics said the contracts, its first-ever biometrics awards, would see it aid the biopharmaceutical firm in developing immunotherapies that target a range of diseases.
In support of two of the client's active clinical programmes, Physiomics will provide biostatistical consulting and statistical programming services starting in July 2025 and continuing over an initial period of one year.
The AIM-listed group stated the combined value of both contracts was estimated to be roughly £111,000.
Separately, Physiomics announced that Jesse Thissen would take over as head of its biometrics unit, effective 1 July.
"Bringing in these initial two new contracts, the head of Biometrics will be responsible for delivering them and will be instrumental in supporting the company further expand its biometrics offering and driving revenue growth in this new area for Physiomics," said the group.
As of 1125 BST, Physiomics shares were up 9.24% at 0.50p.
