(Sharecast News) - Geotechnical engineering firm Keller revealed on Tuesday that chief executive Michael Speakman would step down from the board in order to receive medical treatment, with effect from 18 August.
Keller said it "fully respects and supports" Speakman's decision to step down, although it also said he will remain employed by the group on an advisory basis.
The FTSE 250-listed firm also stated that following a comprehensive search process, Wincanton CEO James Wroath will succeed Speakman, stating that it was confident he would "provide strong leadership and strategic direction".
Chairman Carl-Peter Forster said: "Michael steps down with the group in a strong financial and operational position to continue to pursue its growth opportunities ahead.
"We are delighted to announce James as our incoming CEO. He brings the right blend of experience, vision and leadership to take the group forward"
