Brave Bison says acquisition spree supporting strong strategic progress

(Sharecast News) - Marketing agency Brave Bison has said that underlying trading has been in line with expectations over 2025 so far, with four acquisitions bolstering its competitive advantage.
The company said that its bolt-on brands have "enhanc[ed] the company's position as the go-to marketing and technology partner for ambitious CMOs".

They include: sports marketing agency Engage Digital Partners, acquired in January; SEO specialist Builtvisible, acquired in March; influencer marketing firm The Fifth, acquired in April; and its largest ever purchase, MiniMBA, acquired from Centaur Media just this week.

MiniMBA, purchased for £19m, is a marketing skills and training platform that provides an MBA-level education online, founded by influential marketeer Mark Ritson.

In order to fund the deal, Brave Bison said it conditionally raised gross proceeds of £13.5m by way of an oversubscribed placing and subscription of new ordinary shares to new and existing institutional and other investors. As part of the fundraising, Ritson personally invested £2m and will invest a further £2m over the next 24 months.

At an AGM statement on Friday, Brave Bison said: "the board is very pleased to report strong progress in pursuit of Brave Bison's strategic goals."
