Everplay announces new 'Hell Let Loose' instalment

(Sharecast News) - Everplay Group announced Hell Let Loose: Vietnam on Thursday, a new instalment in its successful first-person multiplayer shooter franchise, scheduled for release in 2026 on Xbox, PlayStation, Epic Games Store and Steam.
The AIM-traded company said the original Hell Let Loose, set during World War II and acquired by Everplay in 2022, had generated over $100m in lifetime revenue with record player engagement reported in 2024 and concurrent users peaking above 144,000 in 2025.

It said the Vietnam edition would retain the core gameplay while introducing historically based combat from the 1965-1973 conflict, featuring combined arms warfare across six new maps.

New elements included fully operational helicopters for troop deployment, US patrol boats, and guerrilla warfare set in dense terrain, developed in partnership with Expression Games using Unreal Engine 5.

"Today's announcement reflects our ongoing commitment to expanding our portfolio through new content and sequels built around our most successful and enduring franchises," said interim executive chair Frank Sagnier.

"Hell Let Loose is one of our most iconic own-IP titles with a loyal global fanbase, and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam represents a bold step forward for the franchise, delivering an all-new experience for fans."

Everplay said players of the original game would continue to receive new content and support through 2026 and beyond as part of its strategy to grow first-party IP and evergreen franchises.

At 1526 BST, shares in Everplay Group were down 0.8% at 373p.
