Eco Buildings CEO steps down with immediate effect

(Sharecast News) - Eco Buildings Group said on Friday that chief executive Sanjay Bowry has stepped down with immediate effect and is no longer a director of the company.
His responsibilities would be absorbed into the role of executive vice-chairman and co-founder Dr Etrur Albani, as the group sharpened its focus on international expansion, particularly in Albania.
The AIM-traded company said its short-term priorities included strengthening operational resources in the Balkans to support growth, while also pursuing new joint venture partnerships in overseas markets.
Chairman Don Nicolson thanked Bowry for his contribution, saying: "I wish Sanjay well in his future endeavours and look forward to Etrur continuing to drive forward the Company's growth agenda."
Eco Buildings, formerly known as Fox Marble, develops prefabricated housing products based on glass fibre reinforced gypsum panels, with its board saying it targets both affordable and high-end housing markets with an emphasis on cost efficiency, speed of construction and sustainability.
At 0846 BST, shares in Eco Buildings Group were down 4.48% at 3.2p.
