Lagos and London, 2 January 2026: Seplat Energy Plc ("Seplat Energy" or the "Company"), a leading Nigerian independent energy company listed on both the Nigerian Exchange and London Stock Exchange notes the public announcement made by one of its founding investors, Etablissements Maurel & Prom S.A. ("M&P"), regarding the proposed sale of its 20.07% equity interest in Seplat Energy to Heirs Energies Ltd ("Heirs Energies"). Reference to the publication is provided below:

Combined, these gas facilities augment Seplat Energy's position as a leading supplier of natural gas to the domestic power generation market.
