Wednesday preview: Topps Tiles Q1 update due; US ADP, JOLTS in focus

(Sharecast News) - The corporate calendar is looking rather light on Wednesday, ahead of a flurry of updates from retailers later in the week, although Topps Tiles is scheduled to release a first-quarter trading statement.
On the macroeconomic front, the S&P Global UK construction PMI for December is due at 0930 GMT, while the release of preliminary eurozone consumer price inflation figures for December is at 1000 GMT.
The US ADP report for December will be out at 1315 GMT, while the BLS will publish its JOLTS report for November at 1500 GMT.
Both of these have the potential to shape market expectations ahead of the all-important non-farm payrolls report on Friday, which is widely expected to show job growth of 55,000 for December, down from the previous month's 64,000 increase.
