Galliford Try wins places on £9.5bn CPC construction framework

(Sharecast News) - Construction group Galliford Try said on Tuesday that it has been appointed to the new £9.5bn Crescent Purchasing Consortium Construction and Capital Works framework, securing places on all five regional lots covering England, Wales and Scotland.
Galliford Try said the framework, which runs for up to eight years, supports construction and refurbishment projects across education and the wider public sector.

The FTSE 250-listed firm will work across a broad mix of schemes, from schools, colleges and universities to healthcare facilities and civic infrastructure.

Chief executive Bill Hocking said: "We are pleased with our appointment to this new education-related framework, reflecting our position as one of the leading contractors for the sector. We look forward to working with CPC and its clients as we continue to develop high-quality educational facilities and wider public sector projects for communities across the country."

As of 1000 BST, Galliford Try shares were up 1.45% at 596.55p.
