(Sharecast News) - Seeing Machines said on Wednesday that it secured a new driver and occupant monitoring programme with a European carmaker through an existing Tier 1 customer.
Its technology will be integrated into a rear-view mirror system for future vehicle platforms, including electric models, with production expected to begin in 2028.
The AIM-traded firm said the contract is expected to generate around $5m in initial lifetime revenue and adds to the company's automotive production pipeline.
Seeing Machines said the award came as new European Union driver-monitoring safety requirements took effect, supporting broader adoption of camera-based in-cabin safety systems.
At 1445 BST, shares in Seeing Machines were up 4.71% at 4.78p.
