Revenue, earnings down at Victoria

(Sharecast News) - Victoria reported underlying revenue of £1.05bn for the year ended 28 March on Friday, down 6.3%, while underlying EBITDA fell to £92.3m from £113.7m.
The AIM-traded flooring group posted a statutory operating loss of £153.3m and a net loss of £326.3m, largely reflecting impairments, refinancing costs, restructuring charges and preferred equity finance costs, while net debt increased to £1.06bn.

It said first-quarter trading in the new financial year had improved, with volumes up about 3%, revenue 7% higher and profitability ahead of the prior year.

Victoria forecast at least £115m of EBITDA for FY2027 and said a refinancing plan was expected to cut balance-sheet liabilities by around £300m and annual finance costs by about £34m, subject to completion.

At 1130 BST, shares in Victoria were down 17.36% at 59.5p.
