Friday preview: UK retail sales due

(Sharecast News) - Friday will mark a fairly quiet end to a busy week.

The latest UK GfK consumer confidence index will be out, along with UK retail sales data for September and the S&P Global PMI for October. Investors will also eye the HCOB eurozone PMI for October.

Across the pond, American Express is slated to report quarterly earnings. On the macroeconomic front, the Michigan consumer sentiment index for October will be released.
