(Sharecast News) - Budget airline Ryanair reported a 1% uptick in passenger numbers for October on Tuesday.
Traffic rose to 19.4m from 19.2m in the same month a year earlier, while the load factor - which gauges how full the planes are - was unchanged at 93%.
On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers increased 5% to 215.4m and the load factor was steady at 94%.
Ryanair said it operated more than 109,100 flights in October.
The passenger numbers came a day after Ryanair announced it was launching a sweeping review of costs, including possible recruitment and pay freezes, as it seeks to mitigate a €2bn spike in fuel prices.
